The first week the game was released, Dec 2017, the daily revenue of the game was around $45 thousand USD, and that’s only on iOS. A very common sentence girls use when talking about this game is 耳朵都怀孕了, meaning “my ears are pregnant.” <– I’m sure most otome gamers out there understand this sentence all too well. 论老娘砸锅卖铁也养不活的四个野男人 (I translate this to “Four Handsome Men You Can’t Afford to Date no Matter What”, but if you’re want a literal translation, it means “Four wild men you can’t afford to keep dating no matter what you sacrifice”). We don’t call the game by it’s name, but it’s nickname Well how popular is it, you ask? I told some of my friends how popular this game is back home, because they didn’t think it would be that crazy, but I proved them wrong, haha. (I know the voices in JP are good, but they sound weird to me) The original voices are Chinese and really good! It makes me sad that the English version only have an English dub with the possibility to download a Japanese voice pack. Also, this is a Chinese game by a Chinese company, it’s not translated from JP. I’ve said several times that Love and Producer (renamed ”Mr Love” in English) is insanely popular in China, and that it’s THE otome game over there.
